65 Thunderbird is finished

We made our 3rd trip to LA to pick up the 65 Thunderbird from Armando's Custom Upholstery in San Jacinto, Ca. The upholstery turned out great and the workmanship is top notch.

Our first look at the finished interior took our breath away.
The trunk got the same attention as the interior with a complete build out. There are hidden compartments under the floor mat and behind the the upper removable panels.
Karen and Jeorge decussing Karen's design and color choice for the car.

The color of the interior, like the color on the car, changes in different light. Both are very bright in the  sun light.

The diamond design with the flat welt  is carried over to the door panels.

The seats feel as good as they look, very conferrable.
The windshield had to be removed then reinstalled to cover the dash that has the same copper thread stitching detail as the rest of the interior.
Back at home in the finished car side of the shop. Now we have to get insurance and current registration before we can start driving our new baby.

We are almost finished with our 65 bird. What is strange, ours is a custom tri coat color that appears to be identical to yours. Ours is a Plymouth "Stryker Orange " Nice job on your build. Enjoy!
