GOOD GUYS SCOTTSDALE

November 14 thru 18 we took "Karens Kaiser" to the Good Guys Scottsdale show arriving a day early, Thursday, to set the camper up, pick our entry package up and visit with some friends.

It was a little cloudy and cool on Friday morning but warmed up during the day. Then that afternoon we drove over to Hot Rods by Dean for the TGIF BBQ.
Our camper was in G lot that is close to the show area and a easy walk back and forth.

This late 40's Oldsmobile has a modern Lincoln Mark II engine, transmission, running gear and electrical system.

46 Mercury with a super charged 351 Ford engine is not yet completed but very nicely done.

Lot's of cars and trucks for sale including this 1960 Edsel hard top that is similar to the Ford Starliner.

Highly modified Buick with hydraulic operated hood, doors, top, rumble seat and ride height that is home built.

Karen enjoyed the weather on Saturday where we were set up in the Builders Choice area. The truck to the left was next to us at the Autorama in February in Sacramento.
Our friends from Tucson AZ were their with their 2 Kaiser Darrins.
This 33 Plymouth has a big block mopar in it.
Nicely done home built 30's Studebaker that a lot of the parts had to be hand made.
I liked the color on this 2 door Ford it similar to the color on my 51.

How's this for a restored Willys with a big engine and running gear in it.
Canadian built 56 Metero Ford convertible.
We had a great time and look forward to the GG show in March 2014. Our next 2 shows are in January in Los Angles at the Fairplex in Pomona then to Sacramento in February for the Autorama.
