Fort Mohave Car Show

On Sunday, November 4th. we took the Starliner to Fort Mohave (about an 81 mile drive) for a fund raiser car show for the Mohave County Sheriff K-9 Unit. There were over 100 cars at the event



Including a 1953 Kaiser Manhattan


With an EFI 302 Engine similar to the Kaiser I am building except this one is mostly stock.

And our Starliner won "Sheriff's Pick" that we were thrilled to receive. In my younger days I had been picked by the Sheriff but not for an award.




Have not had much time to work on the Kaiser other than to finish cleaning up the body and all the parts for Priming, I will use the PPG "metal prep" to seal the metal and prevent rust starting while the body work is being completed. The gas tank had the fuel pump flange welded in, and now is at the powder coater. It is scheduled to go back to Cave Radiator for the internal tank coating.

Howdy from Costa Mesa, how's thing in Kingman these days. Glad to see that the Kaiser is up and running. Have included some of my video links on StreetFire.net. Glad to see someone else is interested in Kaisers.
We have a pretty good Kaiser/Frazer group centered in the Phoenix area. We meet most months during the winter.

Saturday June 18 we took the 51 to  the Yavapai Classic Cruisers car show at Mile High Middle School in Prescott AZ. We left the house at 5:30 AM as it's a 2 hour trip to Prescott and the show started at 8 AM, all went well except one of the trailer tires had a large blister on the side of it when we arrived at the show. I carry 2 spares in the trailer and changed the tire after I unloaded the car, checked in and had the car set up.  They had over 200 cars show up for the Fathers Day show and a good verity like this willies Gasser and chopped 34.  Chopped and channeled rat rod I think it started out as a Chevy.  1953 Kaiser like Karens Kaiser except this one is stock with a Chevy V8 in it.  Nice stock 46 Hudson coupe.  Model A very nicely done.  This Pierce Arrow Limo was a parts car when this owner bought it and made a hot rod with a Pontiac, automatic trans. and 9" rear end it also has the privacy glass behind the driver and a TV in the back
