New Car Hauler
After the sale of our 48' car hauler we shopped for a smaller trailer and bought a new Wells Cargo 24' enclosed car hauler.
We went to the Wells Cargo manufacturing facility in Phoenix last Friday (July 20th) and picked it up the went to Hot Rods By Dean to visit the Kaiser that is getting finished slowly, but will be ready for Good Guys Scottsdale show in November
During last week I painted the walls with Spar Urethane to bring out the natural wood grain, smooth finish and easy to clean. Then painted the floor with lt. blue epoxy floor paint added black stripes as a tire guide when loading the cars.
Installed cabinets from Home Depot and a 5000 lb. wench from Harbor Freight, a battery to run the wench with all the wench controls, relays, etc in the battery box.
I made a spare tire mount from extra pieces of steel I had in the shop and a couple of axle studs and welded it together,
last but not least mounted the fire extinguisher next to the side door.
