This 1950 Ford 2 door was purchased in 1995 at an auction in Santa Rosa CA and has been garaged for the last 30 years that I know of includes:
Stock Body with front floor pans replaced
and the transmission hump revised to accept the AOD transmission, body work has been started on the passenger side where it had been side swiped from the front fender to the rear wheel opening and the rear quarter panel repaired from a previous poor repair job. There is rust repair still needed on the lower front fenders (behind the wheel) and under the right tail light just above the gravel pan. The rest of the body is rust free.The original frame as been replaced with a 1951 frame, original frame comes with the car, with the front cross member boxed and revised to accept the 302 V8, rebuilt "A" arms with new bushings, dropped spindles with new king pens, high rate lowering coil springs, new shocks, rack and pinion power steering, new tie rods, and front disc "brakes" kit from Fat Man Fabrication. The 9" Ford posi traction 3.0 rear end has been narrowed and rebuilt by Currie and has a Cobra 11" disc brake set up. New rear lowering leaf springs, bushings, shocks and sway bar from Jamco and 3" lowering blocks. A 7" dual diaphragm power brake unit has been installed (under floor) and linkage completed. The new brake and fuel lines are complete with a new fuel pump, fuel filter and refurbished gas tank. Frame has been sand blasted and painted with Summit Racing semi'gloss chassis shield.
The engine is a completely rebuilt 302 CI bored .30 over, rebuilt heads, Elgin cam, balanced, stock mustang headers, polished valve covers, chrome pan, and rebuilt AOD Ford transmission. The electronic fuel injection (EFI) from a 1991 Crown Victoria polished, stock computer, main harness from Ford Racing rebuilt injectors, stock distributor, and K & N air filter. Missing is the injector and oxygen sensor harness, the steering column has been revised with u-joint and shaft complete to rack and pinion shifting linkage is made, brake pedal mount complete.
Also included is a US Radiator 4 row hi-efficiency copper core with polished copper top radiator with shroud and S.S. flex fan.
