1972 Ford 3500 Tractor Hydraulic Repair

I have a 1972 Ford model 3500 that I use to maintain the property and grade the driveway that's 1\8 mile long. A week ago, I tried to start it and the battery was shot, of course it's 8 years old, so I replaced it and got it started only to find the 3-point lift would not work and decided to rebuild the hydraulic system.

I used 2 cable come-a-longs to pick up the scraper box attached to the 3-point so it could be moved into the shop, and I could use the overhead electric hoist to lift the heavy parts.
The roof and the seat had to be removed to allow the hoist to have a straight shot to lift the 3-point hydraulic top cover assembly.
The 3-point lift is in the top cover of the forward part of the rear end housing (separate from the transmission) with the tilt and scraper box angle controls on top.
I pressure washed the tractor before it was moved into the shop and you can see the two lift arms and the hydraulic hoses that go to the two cylinders at the back. I made a lift plate that will bolt to the 2 bolts for the seat for the overhead hoist to hook too.
All the connections to the lift arms and top plate were disconnected, then the top cover removed and the hydraulic oil drained.
The top cover with the bracket on the hoist then put on a steel roll-a-round cart. The assembly is very heavy, and the hoist was used to handle and roll it over.
Top cover with the raise/lower piston assembly removed.
This is the raise/lower piston unit on the right and the crank driven front hydraulic pump on the left.

Looking down at the rear housing with the drive shaft and the supply and return lines for the engine mounted hydraulic pump.
The old crank driven hydraulic pump that is for the front loader operation has been remove.
This is the new front loader hydraulic pump.
The 3-point lift piston unit with the 3" piston that received, O-rings and piston seals and a new pressure relief valve mounted on top.
The top lift cover and components received all new O-rings, seals and gaskets then using the lift bracket I made was lowered into place making sure that the cover gasket was not damaged.
Above it's all back together then started to try the 3-point lift that failed. After some research and several tests, I concluded that the engine driven hydraulic pump is not working. Below is the pump removed.

Where the pump bolts to the engine and the high & low pressure lines connect to the pump.
Dissembled front of pump with the wobble shaft and gears.

Disassembled rear of pump with 6 pistons and other parts.
This shows the wobble shaft where the seal has worn groves into it that allowed engine oil to get into the hydraulic system.
The drive gears that sat in water or moisture that eroded the teeth.
I didn't get the pump apart until Saturday so now I have to wait till Monday to order parts and a week for delivery. So, until next post I hope all is well with the people that read my adventures.
