Update on Projects
We did not make the Rod Run and Car Show in Prescott with the 60 Starliner due to our trip north, but there is another run in August we will try & make.
The 51 Ford is still in LA The new glass has been made, body work is complete, the trunk build out is now being done and an
The aqua blue 66 T-Bird runs, the only part I had to buy was an alternator so I upgraded it to a 1 wire while I was at it. Still need to fix A/C System (frozen A/C compressor), vacuum controls (door locks, e brake release, etc.) & Rub out the paint. I have leaned a lot about the 66 T-Birds that will be helpful when I restore the blue bird.
The 1953 Kaiser is coming along with the 66 T-Bird floor pan, console and seats being installed. I had to cut down the X member of the frame 2" to accommodate the dropped floor pan in front of the rear seat.
Now that the floor pan and drive line tunnel fit the frame I will pre-fit it to the body before I put it back on the frame by jacking it up under the body and cut and trim as necessary.
