Our most recent addition to our automotive family is an all original 1947 Hudson Super Six 4 door. It has been in a garage in Southern California for the past 22 years and driven occasionally so is in mostly running condition. It came with new steel belted radial tires, new brakes including wheel and master cylinders. The original sales slip for 1947 that shows a 1941 Chevy traded in for the Hudson was included in the sale. The gas tank has been flushed and the radiator and heater core is now at the radiator shop to be refurbished (the radiator required a new core). I have installed new fuel and water hoses, fuel filter, battery cables and ordered an electronic ignition for the distributor as the hold down screw is stripped that keeps the points in adjustment. Once all that is done we will be driving our new baby.
